Ring AI Inc. ("RingFoods", "we", "us", or "our") provides an AI voice assistant platform that allows small businesses to handle phone calls and customer communications.
You will only receive SMS messages from a business after you have spoken with that business's AI voice assistant by phone and given verbal consent to be contacted by text. Messages are sent on behalf of the business and will identify the business by name.
Typical messages include:
Booking and reservation confirmations
Appointment reminders
Short operational updates (e.g., schedule changes, ready-for-pickup notices)
Consent is collected verbally, during your phone call with the business's AI voice assistant — there is no web form and you never need to visit a website. When the assistant confirms your reservation or order, it gives you this notice before any text is sent:
"You may also get a text about your reservation — message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help."
The phone number we text is the number you called from (caller ID) or a number you stated to the assistant during the call. If the business does not have text confirmations enabled, the assistant will not mention texting and no messages are sent. Your verbal opt-in applies only to transactional messages about your interaction with that specific business — it is never used for marketing and is never shared with other businesses.
Reply STOP to any message to immediately stop receiving SMS from that business. Reply HELP for help. You can also contact the business directly to be removed from their list.
Message frequency varies based on your bookings and the business's operations. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Phone numbers collected for SMS purposes are used solely to send the messages described above. We do not sell or share phone numbers with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
